- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Ice cubes for serving
- Cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional)
steps
- 1.
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then drain.

In a large pot, combine the rinsed rice and water. Bring to a boil and simmer on low heat until the rice is tender, about 20 minutes.
- 3.
Once the rice is cooked, blend it with the remaining water until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove the solids.
- 4.
Return the rice milk to the pot and add the milk, sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt. Stir well and heat over medium until warmed through.
- 5.
Stir in the cooked pasta pieces until evenly distributed.
- 6.
Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for about 1 hour.
- 7.
Serve chilled over ice cubes, garnished with cinnamon sticks if desired.
