Graduation Celebration Brownies

Rich and fudgy brownies topped with a decadent chocolate ganache and colorful sprinkles. Perfect for celebrating your junior high graduation!
ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Sprinkles for topping

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.

In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla.

Beat in eggs, one at a time, until well combined.

Stir in flour until just combined, then fold in chocolate chips.

Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.

While the brownies are cooling, make the ganache by heating cream in a saucepan until hot but not boiling. Pour over chocolate chips and stir until smooth.

Pour ganache over cooled brownies and top with sprinkles. Allow ganache to set before slicing and serving.
