A hearty pasta bake filled with protein-rich ingredients, cheesy goodness, and a savory tomato sauce.
ingredients
- 1 lb whole wheat penne pasta
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 bell peppers, diced
- 2 zucchinis, sliced
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 lb cooked chicken breast, diced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil, for garnish

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Cook pasta according to package instructions.

Sauté onions, bell peppers, and zucchinis in olive oil.
