- 3.5 lbs (1.6 kg) of clover honey
- 1 gallon (3.8 L) of filtered water
- 1 oz (28 g) of Cascade hops
- 1 packet of Lalvin D-47 yeast
- 1 tsp yeast nutrient
- 1 tsp yeast energizer

In a saucepan, bring 1 quart of filtered water to a boil, then remove from heat.

Stir in the clover honey until fully dissolved.

Add half of the Cascade hops to the mixture and steep for 20 minutes for aroma extraction.

Transfer the honey-hopped solution into a sanitized fermentation vessel.

Add the remaining filtered water to the vessel, bringing the total volume to 1 gallon.

Seal with an airlock and ferment in a dark, cool place for about 2-3 weeks or until fermentation is complete.
