A hearty and comforting casserole featuring seasoned ground beef, tender potatoes, and gooey melted cheese. Perfect for cozy family dinners or potluck gatherings.
ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.

Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned.

Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Set aside.

In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes.
- 6.
Spread the cooked beef mixture over the potatoes.

Top with the remaining potatoes and pour beef broth over the casserole.

Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
