- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 oz penne pasta
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
