Crispy Chicken Bacon and Cheese Bake

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Pat chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and brush them generously with the olive oil mixture.

Wrap each chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if necessary.

Heat a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the wrapped chicken breasts, cooking until the bacon is crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.

Remove from the oven, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of each chicken breast, and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Let the dish rest for 5 minutes. Discard toothpicks if used. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides.
