- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup pineapple juice, room temperature
- ¼ cup milk, warm
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg, beaten
- Pineapple slices, for topping (optional)

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- 2.
In a separate bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, warm milk, melted butter, and beaten egg.
- 3.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
- 4.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes or until smooth and elastic.

Cover the buns and let them rise again for about 30 minutes, until puffy.
- 9.
Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
- 10.
Optional: Top each bun with a pineapple slice for an extra touch of tropical flavor.
- 11.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
