- 1 cup whole urid beans
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 4 cups water
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Cooked rice, for serving

Rinse urid beans and add to slow cooker.

Add diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, and ginger.

Sprinkle with cumin, turmeric, garam masala, and cayenne.

Pour in water and stir well.
