Rich Cantonese dish with savory pork & tender shrimp.
ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp Chinese cooking wine or dry sherry
- Salt and pepper to taste

Beat eggs, chicken broth, soy sauce, and Chinese wine in a bowl.

Mix cornstarch with water and add to egg mixture.
- 3.
Sauté garlic and ginger in a pan with oil.
- 4.
Cook ground pork until browned.
- 5.
Add shrimp, cook until pink, then remove.
- 6.
Pour in egg mixture, stir until thickened.
- 7.
Add shrimp and pork back in, season.
- 8.
Garnish with green onions before serving.
