- 1 gallon water
- 2 oranges, zested and juiced
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 packet mead yeast
- 1/2 cup dried fruit (such as cranberries or raisins)
- 1 cup brown sugar (optional, for added sweetness)
