- 3 lbs Briess CBW® Golden Light Dry Malt Extract (DME)
- 4 lbs Briess CBW® Golden Light Dry Malt Extract (DME)
- 1 lb Briess Carapils Malt
- 1 lb Briess Caramel Malt 20L
- 1 oz Centennial Hops
- 2 oz Centennial Hops
- 2 oz Centennial Hops
- 1 oz Centennial Hops
- 2 oz Cascade Hops
- 1 pack Fermentis Safale US-05 Yeast
- 5 oz Priming Sugar
steps
- 1.
Steep grains in 3 gallons of water at 155°F for 30 minutes.
- 2.
Remove grains, bring to a boil, then add DME and Centennial hops.
- 3.
Boil for 60 minutes, adding Cascade hops in the last 15 minutes.
- 4.
Cool, transfer to fermenter, pitch yeast, and ferment for 2 weeks.
- 5.
Bottle with priming sugar, age for 2 weeks, and enjoy your Golden Ale!
