Hawaiian Grilled Chicken with Pineapple

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices fresh pineapple
- Chopped green onions, for garnish

In a small bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.

Place chicken breasts in a large Ziploc bag and pour marinade over chicken. Seal bag and marinate in refrigerator for at least 1 hour, up to 8 hours.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and discard marinade.

Grill chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F. When flipping chicken, add pineapple slices to the grill and grill for about 2-3 minutes per side.
