- 4 oz Heather Tips
- 2 oz Yarrow
- 1 oz Saaz or Tettnanger Hops
- 1 lb Dark Malt LME
- 1 lb Gold or Amber LME
- 1 pack Nottingham Ale yeast
- 4-1/2 oz Corn Sugar (for bottling)

In a large pot, bring 3 gallons of water to a boil and add the honey, Heather Tips, Yarrow, and hops. Boil for 15 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in the Dark Malt LME and Gold or Amber LME until dissolved.
- 3.
Cool mixture and transfer to a fermenter, topping up with water to make 5 gallons.
- 4.
Pitch the Nottingham Ale yeast and ferment according to yeast instructions.

Once fermentation is complete, bottle with the Corn Sugar and allow to carbonate for 2 weeks before enjoying.
