ingredients
- 1 cup day lily petals, chopped
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- Zest of 2 lemons
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Powdered sugar, for dusting

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a food processor, pulse day lily petals, flour, powdered sugar, and butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Press mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, granulated sugar, lemon juice, zest, and flour until smooth.

Pour filling over crust and bake for an additional 25 minutes or until set.

Allow to cool, then dust with powdered sugar before cutting into bars.
