Nutty Banana Bliss Bars

- 200g ripe bananas (about 2 medium bananas)
- 150g rolled oats
- 100g mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans), chopped
- 50g natural peanut butter
- 50g honey or maple syrup
- 50g dark chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.

Add the peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and mix until thoroughly combined.

In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped nuts, cinnamon, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until evenly mixed. If using, fold in dark chocolate chips.

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Press down firmly to ensure it holds together.
