- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 lb green beans, trimmed
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
steps
- 1.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2.
In a saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
- 3.
In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, pour half of the cream mixture over them, and sprinkle with half of the cheese. Repeat with remaining potatoes, cream, and cheese.
- 4.
Bake the au gratin potatoes uncovered for 45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- 5.
While the potatoes bake, season the pork chops and chicken breast with salt and pepper.
- 6.
In a skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- 7.
In the same skillet, cook the pork loin medallions for 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- 8.
Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
- 9.
Meanwhile, steam the green beans for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
- 10.
Serve the sautéed meats alongside the cheesy potatoes and green beans. Garnish with fresh parsley.
