- 1/2 medium red onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 pretzel buns
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 4 lettuce leaves
steps
- 1.
In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.

- 6.
Toast the pretzel buns until golden.
- 7.
Assemble the burgers by spreading a generous amount of guacamole on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a black bean patty, tomato slices, and a lettuce leaf. Cover with the bun top.
