Spicy Asia Fusion Stew

- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small carrot, sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup baby corn
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 teaspoons sriracha sauce
- 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste

Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add beef and brown on all sides. Remove beef from the pot and set aside.
