Spicy Spinach Stuffed Paratha

A quick and easy recipe for delicious paratha roti stuffed with flavorful and nutritious spinach filling. Perfect for a satisfying meal or snack that can be prepared in no time!

- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup spinach leaves, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt to taste
- Water for kneading
- Ghee or oil for cooking

In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, salt, and water to make a soft dough. Set aside for 15 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add ginger paste, green chilies, and onion. Sauté until onions turn translucent.

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well.

Add chopped spinach and salt. Cook until spinach wilts and all the flavors blend together. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a small disc.

Place a spoonful of the spinach filling in the center of the disc and bring the edges together to seal it. Flatten the stuffed ball gently.

Heat a griddle or tawa on medium heat. Cook the parathas on both sides, adding ghee or oil until they turn golden brown.

Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or any chutney of your choice.
