Super Saucy Turkey Meatballs

- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp dried basil
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 8 oz spaghetti curls
- additional grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Divide mixture into 12 portions and shape into meatballs. Arrange on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until browned and fully cooked.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, thyme, and sugar. Stir to combine.

Add the cooked meatballs to the skillet and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

While the meatballs are simmering, cook the spaghetti in a pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions.

Serve the meatballs and sauce over the spaghetti curls. Sprinkle with additional grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
