Crispy white onions soaked in a tangy brine, perfect for sandwiches, burgers, or charcuterie boards.
ingredients
- 2 large white onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black peppercorns
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 2 bay leaves

In a saucepan, combine water, vinegar, sugar, salt, peppercorns, garlic, and bay leaves. Bring to a boil.
