ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, boneless and skinless
- 2 limes, juiced
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 8 corn tortillas
- 1 cup pineapple, diced
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, minced (optional)
- 1 avocado, sliced (for topping)
- 1/4 cup sour cream (for topping)
steps
- 1.
In a bowl, mix lime juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breast and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

While the chicken marinates, prepare the pineapple salsa by combining diced pineapple, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño in a bowl. Set aside.

- 4.
Once done, allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
- 5.
Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side or until pliable.
- 6.
Assemble the tacos by placing grilled chicken strips on the tortillas, topping with pineapple salsa, avocado slices, and a drizzle of sour cream.
- 7.
Serve immediately and enjoy the burst of flavors!
