- 1 cup plant-based milk (e.g., almond, oat, or soy)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup tapioca pearls
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon sticks, for garnish

In a small saucepan, combine the plant-based milk, maple syrup, and ground cinnamon. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until warm and well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.

In a separate saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add the tapioca pearls and cook for about 10 minutes or until they become soft and chewy. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Remove from heat and let the pearls sit in the hot water for another 5 minutes. Drain and rinse the pearls under cold water to cool them down. Set aside.
