- 1 cup textured vegetable protein
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp apricot jam
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- 2 slices bread, soaked in water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a bowl, mix the textured vegetable protein with enough water to cover and set aside.

In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent.

Add the soaked textured vegetable protein, curry powder, turmeric, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, apricot jam, tomato paste, and soy sauce. Cook for 5 minutes.
