- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup béchamel sauce (see below)
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup chopped fresh basil (for garnish) Béchamel Sauce:

- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- Salt and white pepper to taste
