- 4 large apples, preferably a mix of sweet and tart varieties
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 gallon apple cider
- 1 packet champagne yeast
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 cup water

In a large pot, combine the chopped apples with water, cinnamon stick, cloves, allspice, nutmeg, and honey.
