- 8 slices of bacon
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 apples, cored and sliced
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 croissants
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cook the bacon in a large skillet until crispy. Set aside on paper towels to drain excess grease.

In the same skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove from heat and allow to rest for a few minutes before slicing.
