Decadent Chocolate Nougat Bites
ingredients
- 113 grams grated dark chocolate
- 38 grams crumbled nougat
- 240 ml buttermilk
- 65 grams almond flour
- 28 grams unsweetened cocoa powder
- 15 grams stevia sweetener
- 5 grams baking powder
- 1 gram salt
- 2 large eggs
- 60 ml melted coconut oil
- 5 ml vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 175°C and line a mini muffin tin with liners.

In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, cocoa powder, stevia, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Add the buttermilk and mix until smooth.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until fully combined.

Gently fold in the grated chocolate and crumbled nougat, reserving some for topping.

Spoon the batter into the mini muffin tin, filling each liner three-quarters full. Sprinkle the remaining grated chocolate and nougat on top.

Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the bites to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
