ingredients
- 4 liters Fresh water
- 2 kilograms Raw honey
- 1 Big orange (cut in pieces with the skin)
- A modest bunch of Raisins (around 25 pieces)
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 2 whole Cloves
- A squeeze of Nutmeg

In a large pot, combine water, honey, orange pieces, raisins, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Bring to a simmer and stir until honey is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.

Once the mixture is cooled, strain out the solids and transfer the liquid to a clean fermentation vessel. Add yeast and stir gently.

Cover the vessel with a clean cloth and secure with a rubber band. Let it ferment in a cool, dark place for 1-2 weeks, or until bubbling subsides.
- 4.
Strain the mead into bottles and let it age for at least 1 month before enjoying.
