Tender chicken smothered in a tangy lemon herb sauce, perfect for a cozy night in.
ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, 6 oz each
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup Marsala wine
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley for garnish

Flatten chicken breasts to even thickness. Season with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add chicken broth, Marsala wine, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
