Tender chicken breasts smothered in a rich and creamy Alfredo sauce, enveloping al dente fettuccine pasta. The perfect comfort food for a cozy night in.
ingredients
- 1 lb fettuccine pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Cook pasta according to package directions, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken and garlic, and cook until chicken is browned and cooked through.

Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes until it thickens.
