Crispy Garlic Parmesan Pork Chops

Tender pork chops breaded and fried to perfection, topped with garlicky Parmesan crust, and served with a rich mushroom gravy made with mead for a gourmet twist.

- 4 pork chops
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup Bearded Tree Wildflower Mead
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Chopped parsley garnish

Season pork chops with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

In a shallow dish, mix Parmesan, bread crumbs, and more garlic powder.

Dredge pork chops in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat with Parmesan mixture.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Fry pork chops until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side.

Transfer pork chops to a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.

In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté mushrooms until browned.

Add mead, simmer until reduced by half. Stir in cream and simmer until thickened.
