These crispy fritters filled with soft potatoes and caramelized onions are the perfect appetizer or side dish. The bold flavors of garlic and cumin make them irresistible.
ingredients
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and grated
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tbsp rice flour
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- Oil for frying

Rinse grated potatoes and squeeze out excess water

Add potatoes, onion, garlic, cumin, salt, and flours in a mixing bowl

Mix until well combined; then, add coriander leaves and mix again
- 4.
Heat oil in a pan on medium-high heat; once hot, add a heaping spoonful of the mixture to the oil and flatten it slightly

Fry until golden brown on both sides (around 3-4 minutes)

Repeat until all the mixture is used up
