- 4 to 6 cups of honey
- 1 tsp of Fermaido or K

steps
- 1.
Start by brewing 5 cups of hot water and steeping 6 to 12 Earl Gray tea bags for about 10 minutes to achieve a robust flavor.
- 2.
In a large pot, combine the brewed tea with an additional 5 cups of cold water to cool it down.
- 3.
Slowly mix in 4 to 6 cups of honey, stirring until fully dissolved in the tea. Adjust sweetness to your preference.
- 4.
Add 2 gallons of cool water to the mixture, ensuring it is well-mixed and at room temperature.
- 5.
Sprinkle in 1 tsp of Fermaido or K, stirring to incorporate evenly.
- 6.
Pour the blend into a sanitized fermentation vessel, leaving some space for bubbling.
- 7.
After a few minutes, add 1 tsp of potassium sorbate to stabilize fermentation.
- 8.
Seal the fermentation vessel with an airlock and let it sit in a dark, cool place for 4 to 6 weeks.
- 9.
Once fermentation is complete, siphon the mead into bottles, being careful to leave sediment behind.
- 10.
Age your Earl Gray mead for at least another month for enhanced flavor before enjoying.
