Spicy Meat Stew
ingredients
- 1 lb meat (such as beef or pork), thinly sliced
- 1 pack soft tofu
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups water or beef broth
- 2 tbsp Korean red chili pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp Korean chili paste
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 green onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
steps
- 1.
Sauté garlic, onion, and mushrooms in a pot.
- 2.
Add water/broth, chili flakes, and chili paste. Simmer.
- 3.
Add meat and tofu. Cook for 5 mins.
- 4.
Season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
- 5.
Drizzle sesame oil, add green onions, and serve hot.
