Single-Serve Herb-Infused Chicken

Single-Serve Herb-Infused Chicken
ingredients
- 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast
- ¾ tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ lemon, juiced
- Optional: lemon wedge for serving
steps
- 1.
In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
- 2.
Place the chicken breast in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for enhanced flavor.
- 3.
Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- 4.
Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess marinade drip off.
- 5.
Add the chicken breast to the hot skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes until golden brown.
- 6.
Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 6-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- 7.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- 8.
Serve with a lemon wedge and your choice of sides.
