- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds or ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds (optional)
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 4 bay leaves
- 4 tablespoons cooking oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste

- ½ cup Greek yogurt or labneh
