Funfetti Clam Chowder

- 2 lbs fresh clams
- 6 slices bacon, diced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 3 cups clam juice
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 cup Funfetti sprinkles
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Rinse the clams thoroughly under cold water.

In a large pot over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and set it aside, leaving the bacon fat in the pot.
