Indulge in a buttery, sweet bread filled with plump raisins and crunchy almonds, perfect for breakfast or dessert.
ingredients
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

Dissolve yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Mix sugar, butter, flour, salt, and eggs. Add yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
