This flavorful Italian stew, known as Stufatto, combines tender stewing beef with a medley of vegetables, aromatic herbs, and a rich tomato sauce. ingredients
- 2 pounds of stewing beef, veal, or lamb
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 carrots
- 2 stalks celery
- 2 large onions
- 1 green pepper
- 3 cloves garlic
- Herbs (fresh if possible): basil, parsley, oregano
- 4 large potatoes
- 1 can peas (medium size)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 medium can of tomato sauce
