- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

steps
- 1.
In a bowl, combine sliced flank steak, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- 3.
In the same skillet, add the marinated beef. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the beef is cooked through.
- 4.
Place a tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half with shredded Monterey Jack cheese, followed by a layer of cooked beef and sautéed onions. Add more cheese on top and fold the tortilla in half.
- 5.
Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
- 6.
Slice quesadillas into wedges and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
