ingredients
- 1 gallon water
- 8 ounces hopped malt syrup
- 5 ounces Monarch Baker's Special honey
- 1 packet Wyeast 1056 American Ale Yeast or Safale US-05
- 7 teaspoons corn sugar

Heat water to 150°F in a large pot.

Add hopped malt syrup and honey, stirring until dissolved.

Cool mixture to 70°F, then transfer to a sanitized fermenter.

Sprinkle yeast over the top and let sit for 5 minutes.

Seal fermenter with airlock and allow to ferment for 2 weeks.

After fermentation, dissolve corn sugar in a cup of water and add to fermenter.
