Italian Egg Roll Delight

Classic lasagna flavors packed into a crispy egg roll wrapper, perfect for parties or a unique dinner twist. Creamy ricotta cheese, meaty marinara sauce, and savory Italian herbs make these egg rolls irresistible.

- 12 egg roll wrappers
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup cooked ground beef
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Oil for frying

In a bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, ground beef, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.

Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface and spoon a tablespoon of marinara sauce in the center.

Place 2 tablespoons of the ricotta-beef mixture on top of the sauce.

Fold the sides of the wrapper towards the center, then roll it up tightly.

Dampen the end of the wrapper with water to seal it.

Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

Heat oil in a large pan or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).

Carefully fry the egg rolls until they turn golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.

Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
