Italian-style Meatballs

Tender and flavorful Italian-style meatballs made with a mix of ground beef, veal, and pork, infused with garlic, parsley, and the rich tang of Parmesan cheese. Served with a side of crusty bread or your favorite pasta, it's the perfect comfort food to satisfy your cravings.

- 1 lb ground beef (or mix of veal, pork, beef)
- 2 slices of softened bread
- Half the amount of meat, Softened bread
- ¼ cup parsley, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- Pinch of salt (optional)
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Olive oil for frying

In a large bowl, tear the softened bread into small pieces and mix it with the ground meat until well combined.

Add parsley, minced garlic, and salt (if desired) to the meat mixture.

In a separate bowl, lightly beat the egg. Then, add it to the meat mixture along with the grated Parmesan cheese.

Using your hands, thoroughly mix all the ingredients until evenly combined.

Shape the mixture into individual meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the meatballs, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

Fry the meatballs, gently turning them occasionally, until they are browned on all sides and cooked through, about 12–15 minutes.

Once cooked, transfer the meatballs to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.

Serve the meatballs hot with your preferred side or as a delicious addition to pasta dishes.
