A sweet and floral mead infused with the tropical flavors of mango and the subtle spice of ginger blossoms, perfect for a refreshing drink on a warm day.
ingredients
- 3 liters fresh water
- 3 cups mango ginger blossoms
- ½ cup dried oregano
- 1 cup fresh squeezed apple juice
- 1 kilogram organic honey
- 1 teaspoon unspecified mead yeast
steps
- 1.
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and remove from heat.

Add mango ginger blossoms, oregano, and apple juice. Let steep for 30 minutes.
- 3.
Strain mixture and return liquid to pot.
- 4.
Stir in honey until dissolved.
- 5.
Allow mixture to cool to room temperature, then stir in mead yeast.
- 6.
Transfer to a sanitized fermenting vessel and store in a cool, dark place for 4-6 weeks.
- 7.
Once fermentation is complete, bottle and store in a cool place for at least 3 months before enjoying.
