Experience a tropical paradise with this mead filled with sweet pineapple, creamy coconut, and juicy mango flavors. This refreshing and vibrant drink is perfect for a summer gathering or to sip on a relaxing evening.
ingredients
- 3 lbs honey
- 1 pineapple, peeled and diced
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 2 mangoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 vanilla bean, split
- 1 packet champagne yeast
- 1 gallon water

In a large pot, combine water and honey. Heat until honey is dissolved.

Add pineapple, coconut, mango, and vanilla bean.

Bring to a simmer and let it cool to room temperature.
- 4.
Transfer to a sanitized fermentation bucket. Add yeast and cover with lid and airlock.
- 5.
Ferment for 2-3 weeks.
- 6.
Strain out fruit and transfer mead to a glass carboy to age for additional 2 weeks.
- 7.
Bottle and let it carbonate for 1 week before refrigerating.
