Vegan Matcha Black Sesame Tiramisu
ingredients
- 1 cup coconut cream (chilled)
- 1 cup cashew cream (soaked and blended)
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup black sesame paste
- 1 cup brewed matcha tea (cooled)
- 24 vegan ladyfingers (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (for dusting)
- 1 tablespoon matcha powder (for garnish)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

In a mixing bowl, whip the chilled coconut cream until soft peaks form.

In a separate bowl, combine cashew cream, powdered sugar, black sesame paste, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

Gently fold the whipped coconut cream into the black sesame mixture until fully blended.

In a shallow dish, pour the cooled matcha tea. Quickly dip each vegan ladyfinger into the matcha tea, allowing them to soak for just a few seconds.

Layer half of the matcha-soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish.

Spread half of the black sesame filling over the ladyfingers.

Repeat the process with the remaining ladyfingers and filling.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.

Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and sprinkle with matcha powder for garnish.
