Apple Banana Walnut Crumble
ingredients
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1 medium apple, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil or butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional: 1/4 cup dried cranberries or chopped dates

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the mashed banana, chopped apple, and chopped walnuts.

In another bowl, mix rolled oats, honey (or maple syrup), cinnamon, nutmeg, melted coconut oil (or butter), and salt until thoroughly combined.

Pour the oat mixture over the fruit and nut mixture, stirring gently until everything is well coated.

If desired, fold in dried cranberries or chopped dates for added sweetness.
- 6.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- 7.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
- 8.
Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
