A hearty and comforting casserole bursting with layers of seasoned ground beef, savory marinara sauce, and creamy ricotta cheese, all baked to perfection. A flavorful twist on traditional lasagna without the pasta!
ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil, chopped, for garnish
steps

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes.

In a baking dish, layer half of the beef mixture, followed by dollops of ricotta cheese. Repeat.
- 5.
Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- 6.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- 7.
Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped basil.
